‘Opinions of Abington Residents On Investments In Their Middle School’ to be presented on Jan 14, proposed academic program changes for 2025-26 to be discussed

The Abington School District will host a presentation titled “Opinions of Abington Residents On Investments In Their Middle School” during their regular school board meeting on Tuesday, January 14.

The presentation includes feedback from “500 adults who reflect the demographics of ASD”. The survey was released in December. More details about plans for the middle school can be found here.

In related news, the board will also discuss proposed academic program changes for the 2025-2026 school year. Recent recommendations have included:

  • Creation of the College and Career Pathways
  • Expansion of our dual enrollment partners
  • Development of foundational reading courses
