Springfield Township approved a zoning permit on February 18 for a daycare center at 15 W. Wissahickon Avenue.

The site is the former home of The Schoolhouse in Flourtown, which closed in August. The property, which is just shy of one acre, and its 16,600 sf building have been listed for sale for $2,450,000 since October.

According to property records provided by the township, the zoning permit was issued to contractor 15 W Wissahickon LLC of Glenside. Further details were not provided.
