Lower Moreland police arrest man for retail theft, drug possession

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Stephen Stout, 36, for retail theft and drug possession, among other charges.

According to the report, an investigation found that Stout shoplifted from an unidentified location in Huntingdon Valley on December 29, 2025. A warrant was issued and he was arrested on March 25, 2026.

His charges are below:

  • (1) COUNT OF 3929 A1 RETAIL THEFT – TAKE MDSE
  • (1) COUNT OF 3925 A RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
  • (1) COUNT OF 780-113 A16 INT POSS CONTR SUBST BY PER NOT REG
  • (1) COUNT OF 780-113 A32 USE / POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
