Lower Moreland police investigating another burglary in Huntingdon Valley

The Lower Moreland Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred in the area of Buck and Byberry Roads in Huntingdon Valley between Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 30.

According to police, the victims were on vacation and the residence’s exterior/interior video surveillance cameras were disconnected and taken by the offender(s). The last alarm notification the victim received was on Friday, July 28.

Officials believe the offender(s) entered the home through a rear window as dirt was found in front of the open window and there is a large outdoor sink which could easily be used to assist in making entry.

The master bedroom was heavily ransacked: handbags, jewelry, a safe, and cash were taken from it.

The pictured prybar was recovered at the scene which is believed to be left behind by the offender(s).
