The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Shahrukh Shuvo, 30, for domestic assault.

According to the report, police responded to a domestic incident in which the victim claimed to have been physically assaulted on Sunday, March 9 along Welsh Road in Huntingdon Valley.

Officers observed the victim’s injuries and arrested Shuvo.

His charges are below:

• (1) COUNT OF 2701 A1 SIMPLE ASSAULT
• (1) COUNT OF 2709 A1 HARASSMENT SUBJECT OTHER TO PHYSICAL CONTACT
