The Lower Moreland Police Department announced that a residential burglary occurred near Pine Road on Saturday, August 5 at 9:30pm. This was the third burglary in the same neighborhood in less than one month.
According to police, the incident took place while the residents were away.
From the Department’s Burglary Alert:
The offenders entered through a side door, which was kicked in, and exited through a rear sliding glass door, which appeared to have been opened from inside.
The home alarm limited the time in the home for the suspects and cut down on what was found and/or taken. There was only one valuable item stolen. Video revealed two white male offenders, both carrying flashlights, captured only on an exterior camera as they fled the scene on foot. A K-9 track led officers to the area of Tomlinson Road near Rennard St in NE Philadelphia.
If anyone has video or information, please contact Detective Halota at 215-947-3132.
