Kelvin Roberts Jr., 42, of Philadelphia, Jeremy Fuentes, 26, of Philadelphia, and Charles Edward Fulforth, 41, of the Jenkintown section of Abington Township, were held for trial on additional charges that they participated in a gun trafficking organization that dealt in 3D-printed ghost guns, suppressors and machine gun conversion devices, Mainline Media News reported today.
The trio, each of whom were coworkers at Junkluggers in the Willow Grove section of Upper Moreland Township, were also accused of roles in a deadly home invasion burglary in Lower Merion Township in December and January.
Each suspect was ordered to stand trial after a preliminary hearing this week on charges of corrupt organizations, illegal sale or transfer of firearms and dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, Mainline Media said. County detectives said they seized multiple firearms, silencers, gun parts, 3D-printers, machine gun conversion devices and tools used to manufacture guns during searches of Fulforth’s Abington residence and a garage in Oreland.
Roberts and Fulforth entered not guilty pleas on Wednesday, February 26 to charges of first- and second-degree murder, attempted murder, robbery, burglary and conspiracy. Fuentes, who allegedly provided information to Roberts and Fulforth in connection with the robbery, waived his formal arraignment hearing and his defense lawyer entered not guilty pleas on Fuentes’ behalf.
A judge set July 21 as the trial date for all three men, who will remain in the county jail without bail.
In January, a total of eight people were charged in connection with the gun trafficking operation.
