Sales agent Janie Burstein-Boyle told Glenside Local that the store has recently received multiple inquiries about its status because of a Zillow.com real estate listing for the adjacent building.

Jenkintown Electric is currently located at 218 York Road. 220 York Road, the former home of Jenkintown Electric, is on the market for $349,000.

“We were there five years ago, and it’s been vacant ever since,” Burstein-Boyle said. “I asked the agent to change the description because it’s misleading people.”

According to the listing, the building is zoned mixed use and can be used as residential and/or commercial purposes.
