Willow Grove man pleads guilty to indecent contact with teenage boy

George Khari Smith, 48, of the unit block of North York Road in the Willow Grove section of Upper Moreland Township, admitted to having indecent contact with a teenage boy, The Pottstown Mercury reported.

On September 23, 2025, Upper Moreland police received information that Smith had indecent contact with a 17-year-old male while the victim was visiting Smith’s apartment. The victim told detectives that Smith invited him to his apartment five days prior to give him toiletries and other items. Smith knew the teenager’s family, The Mercury said.

“During the visit, Smith asked the victim inappropriate questions about his genitals and also asked to see the teenager’s genitals,” The Mercury wrote. Smith then “proceeded to put his hands down the victim’s pants and groped him for several seconds.”

Two weeks earlier, Smith reportedly showed the victim sexual videos from the internet as well as a private video of another male’s genitalia. He also told the victim he goes to weekend “sex events” and invited the teenager to accompany him.

Smith pleaded guilty to charges of trafficking individuals, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and endangering the welfare of a child. He potentially faces more than a decade in prison on the charges.

A sentencing will be held later this year, The Mercury said.
