If you still have your Christmas tree that needs to be recycled, you have opportunity during the next two days to have your tree picked up in Cheltenham Township.

According to a recent statement from Cheltenham Township,  “Used Christmas trees will be collected by Cheltenham Township Public Works crews on the following dates:

• Residences located WEST of Old York Road on Saturday, January 19th.

• Residences located EAST of Old York Road on Friday, January 18th.”

The note from the Township states that “residents must remove all decorations before placing the trees at the curb.”

For further information, residents of Cheltenham Township are encouraged to “call the Public Works Department at 215-635-4600.”
