Womens Coalition for Empowerment to host ‘Celebrate Her: A Brunch for Every Woman’ in Elkins Park, tickets now on sale

The Womens Coalition for Empowerment Inc, a 501(c)(3) BIPOC-Women-led art-centric nonprofit, will host “Celebrate Her: A Brunch for Every Woman” on Saturday, May 4 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm in Elkins Park.

The afternoon will include live music, catered food, interactive conversations, and wine tastings.

“Celebrate Her is an afternoon dedicated to honoring and uplifting women from all walks of life,” Shekhinah B, Executive Director, said. “It’s a brunch like no other, where attendees can indulge in mouth-watering food, enjoy live music, participate in interactive conversations, and even indulge in some wine tastings provided by Cyrenity Sips Winery. It’s a celebration of women’s achievements, resilience, and the power of community.”

The WCE will also host the Juneteenth Wine & Arts Festival 2024 on Saturday, June 15 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the Cherry Street Pier, 121 N. Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia.

The Women’s Coalition for Empowerment, Inc. & Cyrenity Sips Winery LLC, in partnership with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, the inaugural Juneteenth Wine & Arts Festival celebrates Juneteenth and Black culture through wine tastings, art exhibits, and live music performances.  A family-friendly event featuring wines from local Black-owned wineries, art exhibitions, live performances, and craft vendors. Open to all, but wine consumption is only allowed for those 21+.
