The forthcoming Bank of America at the Cedarbrook Shopping Plaza (1000 S Easton Road, Cheltenham Township) is taking shape.

Lauren Walter, the township’s public information officer, told Glenside Local that a planned opening date is TBA.

Inspections are not yet complete, though the following permits have been issued, she said:

The township first received plans for the new bank in October 2024. The land development application for the 4,275 sf vacant lot called for a single building with a drive-thru lane to replace a now-demolished Bank of America drive-up ATM.

Preliminary/final land development plans can be found here. The applicant was granted a series of variances in April 2024.

In February 2025, Bowman Consulting Group sent the following document to township officials:
