The Philadelphia Inquirer shared updates today regarding five greater Glenside restaurants expected to open this fall.

Capperini

Capperini, a two-story Italian/Mediterranean restaurant 137 S. Easton in Glenside, was initially slated to open this summer. That timeline has been pushed back to October or November.

Eastern Montco will get an upscale Italian-Mediterranean destination with a liquor license from Ilya Vorobey and partners including members of the team behind Capri in Queen Village. Vorobey is aiming for October or November.

Casa de Fehu

Casa de Fehu, an upscale European-style restaurant at 482 Jacksonville Road in Hatboro, is expected to open in October.

Hatboro couple Anthony Shalamov and Anastasia De Roy are developing this polished restaurant with European-inspired cooking and an upscale atmosphere, possibly with a tie-in to a local brewery that would allow alcoholic drinks. Shalamov is targeting an October soft opening.

The Iron Oven Restaurant & Bar

The Iron Oven Restaurant & Bar, an American-style eatery at 58 S York Road in Hatboro, is expected to open in November.

Alex Nalbandian’s Southampton bar-restaurant — known for an expansive American menu, cocktails, craft beer, brunch, and dishes ranging from wings and burgers to flatbreads and entrees — is adding a second location in eastern Montco: the former Ross & Co. He’s aiming at November.

Nudy’s Cafe

Nudy’s Cafe, a family-owned breakfast and lunch café chain, is expecting to open their 16th location at the Willow Grove Shopping Center later this month.

Prolific suburban breakfast-and-lunch operator Ray Nudy hopes for late September for his latest diner, across from Marshalls in Willow Grove.
