Cheltenham Township Board of Commissioners to consider adopting ordinances regarding handicapped parking, 15-minute parking, and creation of a new street on Oct. 21

Cheltenham Township solicitor Edward Diasio announced today that the Board of Commissioners will consider and could vote to adopt the following ordinances on October 21:

An Ordinance amending Chapter 285, Vehicles and Traffic, Article IV, Schedule of Traffic Regulations, Section 285-43, Street and Parking Regulations, of the Cheltenham Township Code to add handicapped parking in front of 733 Brooke Road.

The ordinance is below:

An Ordinance amending Chapter 285, Vehicles and Traffic, Article IV, Schedule of Traffic Regulations, Section 285-43, Street and Parking Regulations, of the Cheltenham Township Code to add 15-Minute Parking Only, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on the west side of Greenwood Avenue beginning 100 feet south of Glenside Avenue and ending 155 feet south of Glenside Avenue.

An Ordinance amending Chapter 285, Vehicles and Traffic, Article IV, Schedule of Traffic Regulations, Section 285-43, Street and Parking Regulations, of the Cheltenham Township Code to amend street and parking regulations on Spring Avenue, Montgomery Avenue, Windsor Avenue, and Mill Road and to create a new street named, “South Spring Avenue”.
