7925 Washington Lane, Wyncote has been on the housing market for 43 days, and it’s attracting attention. Built in 1921 as the Dixon family estate’s dairy farm, the six-bed, seven-bath, 10,000 sqft residence is currently priced at $2,300,000.
Phiadelphia Magazine recently ran a review of the property.
“But this house is Tudor only on the outside. Its conversion from barn to residence in 1952 gave it a distinctly different appearance on the inside, one that blends classic traditional and Streamline Moderne design with a soupçon of French flair,” Sandy Smith writes.
Horace Trumbauer’s original design became a residence in 1952 after a series of renovations. For a peek inside, including detailed description’s of the property’s interior, you can check out Philadelphia Magazine’s article here. Images courtesy of Philadelphia Magazine.
