Charmos Nahum Smith, 22, of the 1500 block of Franklin Avenue in Willow Grove recently pleaded guilty to drug and DUI-related charges after he allegedly fled the scene of a hit-and-run in Lower Providence last year.

Smith’s sentence will span 11½ to 23 months in the county jail and includes one year of probation. His charges include possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine or marijuana and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

A vehicle search uncovered 15 bags of suspected methamphetamine, a vacuum-sealed bag containing marijuana, a digital scale and $870 cash.
