The Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation (LHPF) announced that the Fleurs de Villes flower show will be featured at Lynnewood Hall in partnership with HBO’s TV series, “The Gilded Age”.

Fleurs de Villes is a world-renowned luxury floral exhibition and will be at the Elkins Park estate from September 25 through October 4. Presale tickets went on sale for LHPF members in July. Public ticket sales will be available in August.

In late June, the foundation celebrated the third anniversary of the estate’s purchase. The 110-room Gilded Age mansion had been vacant and deteriorating for more than 30 years. Edward Thome and his friend and partner Angie Van Scyoc, who created the LHPF in 2019, spearheaded the purchasing efforts.

From a quiet, broken, sad, forgotten and empty shadow of herself, to once again rising to be the toast of Gilded Age architecture in America, Lynnewood Hall truly has a new lease on life and is improving every day.

Lynnewood Hall stands as a testament to fine craftsmanship, artistic talent, and sheer determination. A true survivor against all odds.

A private past becomes a public present and Lynnewood Hall aims to be a secondary home to our greater community. A place for education, inspiration, respite, and entertainment. A home where many future generations will convene to celebrate community and beauty in art, architecture, horticulture, music, and much more.
