White Horse Coffee Roasters & Sustainable Marketplace in Jenkintown (615 West Ave.) would like to be a viable site for a Lancaster Farm Fresh CSA pick-up location and needs more sign-ups.

CSA means Community Supported Agriculture and it’s when a local farm sells produce/meat/dairy shares directly to the public and drops off these shares at various sites throughout their service area.

As an example, per their website, a winter produce share from Lancaster Farm Fresh consists of:

…a mix of some of the following items: arugula, beets, cabbage, carrots, celeriac, chard, collards, Jerusalem artichokes, kale, mixed lettuce or other young greens, mushrooms, onions, parsnips, potatoes, radicchio, radishes, rutabagas, spinach, sweet potatoes, turnips, and winter squash.
