PECO is scheduled to began replacing poles and upgrading aerial electric lines according to a statement released by Cheltenham Township.
“Beginning the week of January 14, 2019, crews will be working on Mill Road between Church Road and Ashbourne Road,” the statement detailed. “Crews will be replacing utility poles and upgrading aerial electric lines with cable that is more resistant to tree damage.”
“During this time, crews will inspect neighborhood power lines and equipment to identify any additional repairs or replacements that may be needed,” the statement continued. “This work is expected to be completed by early February, weather permitting.”
