Urban Outfitters Inc. is relocating Reclectic, its Philadelphia discount outlet store, out of Franklin Mall to the Willow Grove Park Mall, The Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
The 44,000 sf store is expected to open on February 27.
Urban Outfitters created the Reclectic concept to sell goods from its namesake brand and its Anthropologie, Free People and Nuuly brands. Reclectic sells shoes, clothing, home furnishings, and accessories which are typically 50% to 60% off the ticket price.
From their website:
Reclectic is a unique retail experience from URBN, a global portfolio of lifestyle brands including Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters, and Nuuly. From treasure hunters to thrifters, everyone can find something they love at Reclectic.
“Willow Grove Park mall gives us the opportunity to do just that, to satisfy an increasing enthusiasm for the type of product that we have in our stores,” Kevin Dorfmeyer, head of Reclectic, told The Journal.
The store will occupy the first floor of the former Sears department store below Primark. The store’s employees are being offered positions at the new location in Abington Township, The Journal said.
This month, the Willow Grove Park Mall saw the departure of Francesca’s, a women’s clothing and jewelry store, and GameStop.
