Francesca’s, a women’s clothing and jewelry store with a location inside the Willow Grove Park Mall in Abington Township, is in the process of shutting down all of its remaining stores, FOX Business reported.
According to their coverage, employees were reportedly laid off without warning and vendors say they are owed hundreds of millions of dollars in unpaid invoices. Company representatives confirmed the chain is liquidating inventory with sales beginning as early as January 16 in some stores.
Francesca’s filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in December 2020 amid declining in-store sales and other financial challenges, FOX Business said.
The company has not publicly confirmed the closing, though its online store is advertising sales of 20 percent off. According to their website, all sales are final as of January 14.
For the time being, store hours are:
- Mon: 11:00AM-8:00PM
- Tues: 11:00AM-8:00PM
- Wed: 11:00AM-8:00PM
- Thurs: 11:00AM-8:00PM
- Fri: 11:00AM-8:00PM
- Sat: 11:00AM-8:00PM
- Sun: 11:00AM-6:00PM
The GameStop store at the Willow Grove Park Mall permanently closed earlier this month.
