The Upper Moreland Police Department is searching for a white male who fled from officers after an attempted vehicle stop on the 100 block of Fern Avenue in Willow Grove around 4:30pm on Sunday, March 29.

According to yesterday’s post, officers were tracking the individual on foot with a police K9 and by vehicle. As of 5:50pm on Sunday, the department announced that the K9 track concluded and the subject was not located.

“There is no threat to the community and UMPD is continuing their investigation,” the post said. “If anyone in the area saw anything suspicious or caught something suspicious on their security camera, please contact Officer Gershanick at 215-657-4700 or by emailing wgershanick@uppermoreland.org.”
