Mrs. Lisa Donna Kasser, a Cheltenham High School graduate and longtime owner and director of Burn Brae Day Camp of Creative Arts in Dresher, passed away on August 14 in Philadelphia. She was 69.
For 45 years, Mrs. Kasser directed the camp, “a place she founded and built from the ground up”, her obituary said.
“Her legacy lives on not only through the camp she created and the countless lives she touched there, but most deeply through the people she loved,” her obituary said. “She will be remembered for her creativity, generosity, individuality, and fierce devotion to those she cared for, and for creating places, both at Burn Brae and within her own family, where people could know they belonged.”
