ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Bursting forth like molten magma from the savage streets of Glenside, The Lava Rocks — these middle-aged heroes — have dedicated a percentage of their waking hours to spreading the gospel of Rock & Roll, and the joy of singing and dancing to the Classic Rock and R&B that you love. Come on out and have some fun!


The Lava Rocks are: Deke Kassabian – Keyboards & vocals; Ezra Sherman – Guitar & vocals; Nick Claxton – Guitar & vocals; Don Hantula – Mandolin, lap steel guitar, bass & vocal; Eric Allenson – Drums.

Lincoln Drive takes you on a musical journey through classic and alternative rock—with a few twists and turns along the way. Band members hail from Philly and its immediate suburbs and embrace a range of styles, from bluesy guitar to folk-pop, new wave, R&B and—was that disco? Expect a few originals sprinkled amid a set drawing from the rich history of rock music.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Tickets are $16 in advance or $20 at the door ($10 for kids 13 and under). Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Advanced tickets are recommended! Visit theroyalglenside.com/faq for more information.

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.

FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.

PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
