Daniel K. Healey, 25, of Huntingdon Valley, was arrested by Lower Moreland Township police on June 15 for possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and violating the conditions of his probation.
According to an affidavit of probable cause released on Thursday, Healey was on probation for a prior conviction involving the possession of CSAM and is a registered sex offender.
An investigation began after a Bucks County Probation Officer contacted Lower Moreland police regarding a probation compliance check at Healey’s residence. The Probation Officer’s review of Healey’s laptop computer had revealed “very young” topless Asian females. The laptop was confiscated as evidence, according to Detective Jamie Samuel’s report.
Police obtained a search warrant for the laptop, which revealed through forensic examination three videos containing CSAM “involving three separate minor victims”, the complaint said.
“The victims appeared to be under ten years of age, with two of the victims appearing to be under five years of age. All of the victims were engaged in sexual acts,” the complaint said.
Forensic examination additionally identified 19 CSAM images involving victims who appeared to be younger than 10 years of age, 22 artificially generated images depicting CSAM, and seven images of victims who appeared to be over 10 years of age but younger than 18 years of age, according to the complaint.
Healey’s cellular phone was confiscated and examined as well. The search revealed “numerous communications between Healey and underage females through Discord,” the complaint said.
