Taberu Ramen, located at 700 Huntingdon Pike in Jenkintown, officially opened for business on Tuesday, October 21.
Jim Yu, an Abington resident and Taberu’s manager, told Glenside Local that their ramen cuisines are traditional Japanese-style.

“Everything on our menu is freshly made, including the soups, barbecue and bubble tea. We use the best ingredients,” Yu said, noting that the interior, which for years served customers of the Hollywood Tavern, has been overhauled.
“We have an oriental family-friendly vibe. We changed the whole interior into a contemporary fitting. It looks very modern now,” he said.

Yu also said that management is currently trying to work the alcohol back into the menu. It should be available in the near future.
