Springfield senior named recipient of $2.5K scholarship after winning Ardent Scholarship contest

Daniel Gendron, a Wyndmoor native and graduating senior at Springfield Township High School, has been awarded a $2500 scholarship from Ardent Credit Union.

Gendron was named a winner of the 2025 Ardent Scholarship contest, which awarded a total
of $15,000 in funds to five exceptional students from across the Philadelphia region based on academic achievements, community involvement and creative video submissions.

The contest required applicants to create short-form videos showcasing their accomplishments. Now in its 15th year, the Ardent Scholarship program has awarded more than $159,000 in scholarships.
