Hatboro officials have been notified by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) the new meadow site at the Pennypack Community Center property will be seeded on Thursday, December 19.
This seeding is being conducted in conjunction with the ongoing Lawn to Meadow Project taking place at 130 Spring Avenue, Hatboro and is being completed by Land Studies (subcontractor for DCNR).
According to officials, the contractor estimates work to begin between 9:30am and 11:00am.
“This project will transform a section of open space into a native managed meadow aimed to both beautify the Pennypack Community Center property and benefit the natural ecosystem once completed,” borough officials said.
This project is being completed by licensed, qualified professionals employed by Land Studies (subcontractor for DCNR). More information on the project here.
