The Basilian Sisters in Jenkintown hosted a few hundred Ukrainian families for their annual Christmas pageant on Sunday, December 15, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church reported.
The evening pageant featured performances by children and provided “presents for each child from Sviatyi Mykolai, thanks to Sr. Teodora and the many donors and volunteers who contributed and prepared all the toys and candy,” the church said.

From their article:
Fr. Dan Troyan began the program with a prayer and gratitude to the Sisters for their organization of the event.
The children’s singing group “Soloveyky” was directed by Halyna Bodnar and on the piano Luba Shchuyko. The children’s Drama Club “Dzvonyky” was headed by Halyna Pupin and Halyna Mykhaylyuk. Sr. Franciska thanked all who contributed to the evenings performance.
Weeks of preparation went into the soliciting from generous donors (by Sr Monica and Sr. Teodora) to prepare the age appropriate gifts for St. Nick to distribute to the Ukrainian children.
God bless everyone for their love and care for the children!
