Penn State THON Weekend

A number of individuals from Penn State Abington are at the Bryce Jordan Center on the main campus of The Pennsylvania State University to participate in THON. 

“THON is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer,” according to a statement from the non-profit organization.  “Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research – all in pursuit of a cure.”

According to a statement from Penn State Abington, “Abington THON dancers Lily Goldberg, Shana Bowers, Sean Monaghan and Jenna D’Entremont [set] off to THON.  They will participate this weekend by dancing for 46 hours straight to help find a cure.”
