Penn State Abington has announced that as of Monday, September 20th, Christine Cicio will be the new director of Continuing Education.

From the Penn State News:

“I am honored and excited to join the Penn State Abington team as the next director of Continuing Education. I would like to thank Chancellor Margo DelliCarpini, as well as the search committee chaired by Tina Vance-Knight, for their assistance during the process. I look forward to strengthening and expanding our continuing education offerings and providing lifelong learning opportunities to all students,” Cicio said.

Cicio earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice and a master’s of public administration at Rutgers University. She also has a teaching certification and a diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace certificate. Her prior position was also at Rutgers; she was a senior program coordinator in the Division of Continuing Studies at the Center for Government Services.
