Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Pennsylvania State Police Captain Jonathan Sunderlin announced today the arrest of Nicholas A. Fountain, 38, of Skippack Township, on numerous felony charges related to sexual assaults of a juvenile that occurred when he was between 9 and 16 years old.
A joint investigation began on September 24 when the victim reported to the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks that he had been sexually assaulted by Fountain for years, DA Steele said. The juvenile was between 9 and 16 years old at the time of the sexual assaults, which began with sexual touching by Fountain and progressed to oral penetration and attempted anal sex.
Fountain was charged on Sunday, October 5 with multiple counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault Without Consent, Indecent Assault with Person Less Than 13 Years Old, Unlawful Contact With Minor—Sexual Offenses, Endangering the Welfare of Children and Corruption of Minors.
He was arraigned and denied bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled on October 15, DA Steele said.
