Hiway Theater in Jenkintown announces special showings in October

The Hiway Theater in Jenkintown will host a series of special events in October.

On Wednesday, October 8, the theater will show “Clue” as part of its 40th anniversary.

“This version will see it go back to its theatrical roots where the ending you see will be a mystery,” assistant programmer Grant Gow told Glenside Local, noting that one of three endings that were filmed for the movie’s original release will be chosen at random.

The theater’s monthly Cult Cinema Club returns with “Tetsuo: The Iron Man” on Saturday, October 11.

Their $5 Family Matinee series returns on October 18 with “Addams Family Values”. The showing is free for members. On October 19, the Monthly Sunday Screwballs series returns with “Libeled Lady”.

Finally, on October 24, a Horror at the Hiway screening of “Pumpkinhead” is scheduled for 9:45pm.

Tickets to all shows and more are available now at hiwaytheater.org/specials.
