U.S. News & World Report’s 2024-2025 Best Hospitals ranking was released Tuesday after evaluating more than 5,000 hospitals’ performance across 30 medical and surgical services.

MossRehab in Elkins Park received the 8th best ranking in the country for Rehabilitation. To be nationally ranked in a specialty, a hospital must excel in caring for the sickest, most medically complex patients, U.S. News said.

Jefferson Abington Hospital is ranked Pennsylvania’s 13th best (7th in the Philadelphia area) and is rated high performing in 12 adult procedures and conditions, U.S. News said.

Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook was unranked across considered categories.
