The Montgomery County Commissioners have declared a “Code Blue” cold weather emergency beginning Wednesday, December 18 at 9:00pm and ending on Tuesday, December 24 at 9:00am.
During this period, the temperature or the wind chill is expected to be at or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit for two or more hours.
The county declares a Code Blue when winter conditions threaten serious harm or death to individuals without shelter. Residents of Montgomery County who need emergency shelter during a Code Blue can call the Your Way Home Call Center at 610-278-3522.
