Mobay Jamaican Restaurant now open in Jenkintown

Mobay Jamaican Restaurant is now open at 111 York Road in Jenkintown.

After a waiting period that dates back to the spring of 2023, owner Leston Donaldson started serving jerk chicken, curry chicken, Mobay patties, and other authentic Jamaican foods on Friday.

“It’s more than I expected. Everything seems to be going great,” Donaldson told Glenside Local.

Takeout, dine-in, and catering are available. A previous Mobay Jamaican restaurant in Abington closed in 2019.

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday 11 AM – 8PM
  • Saturday (Closed)
  • Sunday 12 AM – 7PM

Donaldson said a website, Facebook page, and digital menu are forthcoming. Stay tuned.
