Man wanted for rape on Penn State Abington’s campus turns self in to police

Abdul-Jabril Cooper, 19, a former Penn State Abington student accused of raping a woman at his on-campus apartment in September 2024, turned himself in to police on Tuesday, one day after the U.S. Marshals released his picture, 6ABC reported.

A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office on July 16. Cooper had previously declined offers from Penn State University police and the U.S. Marshals Service to surrender, officials said.
