U.S. Marshals, Montco DA seeking man wanted for rape on Penn State Abington’s campus

Abdul-Jabril Cooper, 19, is the subject of a July 16 Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office warrant, the U.S. Marshals Service announced today.

Cooper, a former student, is wanted for a rape incident which occurred in his apartment on Penn State Abington’s campus in September 2024.

Cooper has declined offers from Penn State University police and the U.S. Marshals Service to surrender, officials said. He is described at 5’9″ and 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 1200 block of Southern Avenue SE in Washington, D.C.

“The rape of a student on a collegiate campus is a betrayal of safety that deserves immediate justice,” said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark. “Actively evading law enforcement is a consciousness of guilt and Mr. Cooper should surrender immediately.”
