Lower Moreland, Upper Moreland, Hatboro police release details of 4 recent arrests

The Lower Moreland, Upper Moreland, and Hatboro Police Departments released the details of the following arrests:

Franklin Santos (above left)

The Lower Moreland Police Department received a report of theft of a bank check on May 9. According to police, the victim received a notification that a check was mailed but never received by the intended party.

The victim, a resident of Huntingdon Valley, also reported the check had been cashed and the money had been withdrawn from the associated checking account. The check was altered and appeared to be payable to a Franklin Santos.

Detectives were able to confirm Santos, 25, as the actor and were granted an arrest warrant. On August 8, he turned himself in to police and is being charged with the following:

  • (1) COUNT OF 4101 A2 FORGERY
  • (1) COUNT OF 4106 A1I ACCESS DEVICE IS COUNTERFEIT ALTERED INCOMPLETE
  • (1) COUNT OF 4106 A1II ACCESS DEVICE ISSD TO ANOTHER WHO DID NOT AUTH USE
  • (1) COUNT OF 3922 A3 THEFT BY DECEPTION (1) COUNT OF 3925 A RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
  • (1) COUNT OF 3921 A THEFT BY UNLAW TAKING-MOVABLE PROP

Sterling Warren (above right), Kimesha Speight

Lower Moreland officers were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy at 670 Welsh Road in Huntingdon Valley on Thursday, June 27 for a report of a retail theft in progress.

According to the report, a male and a female took an unknown amount of merchandise and fled in a gold Hyundai. Officers responded to the location and made contact with the complainant to obtain further information.

Further investigation identified the actors as Kimesha Speight, 39, and Sterling Warren, 33. The defendants are being charged with following:

  • (1) COUNT OF 3929 A1 RETAIL THEFT
  • (1) COUNT OF 3929 A5 RETAIL THEFT DESTROY ETC INVENTORY CONTROL TAG

Ralston Stora

Stora, 38, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested by Upper Moreland police on September 13 at 12:41am for DUI Combination Alcohol/Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

During a traffic stop at Easton and Maryland Roads in Willow Grove, Stora was found to be operating a motor vehicle while impaired and in possession of a controlled substance. He is charged with the following:

  • DUI COMBINATION ALCOHOL/DRUGS (M)
  • POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (M)
  • POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA (M)

Tyler Brooks

Hatboro officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Jacksonville Road on August 30 for the report of a vehicle accident.

Following an investigation, Brooks was arrested and charged with the following:

  • (1 COUNT) (75) 3802 A1 DUI GENERAL IMPAIRMENT
  • (1 COUNT) (75) 3802 C DUI HIGHEST RATE OF ALCOHOL (M)
  • (1 COUNT) (75) 3802 D3 DUI – COMBINATION INFLUENCE ALCOHOL & DRUG (M)
