Lower Moreland police arrest woman with warrant for eluding an officer, man for driving a stolen vehicle

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced the arrest of Kayla Santos da Silva, 24, for attempting to elude an officer.

According to the report, Santos da Silva “failed to stop and continued driving, disregarding the officer’s lights and sirens” during a traffic stop in Huntingdon Valley on Tuesday, April 21. Her vehicle was eventually located and an investigation revealed she had an arrest warrant out of Philadelphia.

Santos da Silva was taken into custody on scene. She received the following charge:

  • (1) COUNT OF 3733 A FLEEING OR ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE OFFICER

Lower Moreland police also arrested Devon Golding, 47, for driving a stolen vehicle.

According to the report, Golding was stopped by police in Huntingdon Valley on Monday, April 20. An investigation found that his vehicle was listed as stolen. 

He received the following charges:

  • (1) COUNT OF 3925 A RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
  • (1) COUNT OF 3928 A UNAUTH USE MOTOR OTHER VEHICLES
