Local fire companies responded at approximately 9:30pm Wednesday to a possible fire on the first floor of Taylor Hall, a dormitory on Arcadia University’s campus.

According to Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania, crews encountered “heavy smoke” upon arrival.

Engine 1, Engine 2, Snorkel 82, Engine 300-2, Engine 700-2, Ladder 400 and Quint 99 were dispatched to the scene, according to EASP’s Facebook post.
