Keswick Tavern releases details for their ‘End of an Era’ party

In mid-April, Keswick Tavern owners Bill and Michelle McKeever announced that they had sold their restaurant and bar after 26 years in Glenside.

The announcement included a teaser for a last hurrah on Sunday, May 19, the details of which have come together after weeks’ worth of planning.

Dubbed the “End of an Era” party, the event marks the last day of business for the tavern. The all-day celebration kicks off at 2:00pm and will feature a food truck, DJs, t-shirts for sale, and cash-only orders.

“As we’ve been planning for the final party at the KT, it’s brought up so much nostalgia, looking through pictures and telling stories from the past,” general manager Kelly McKeever said. “We’re so excited for May 19. It’ll be a great day to celebrate the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter. We hope to see everyone who has supported us over the years for one last cheers!”

From the tavern’s announcement on Facebook:

We are coming up on the last weeks of the KT and closer to our final closing date

We will have a food truck outside two DJs and a lot of memories to be made!!!

Looking forward to see our keswick community, familiar faces, friends and family!
