Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant trademark + 5 locations, including Huntingdon Valley, to be taken over following federal judge’s approval

The former Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant at 785 Huntingdon Pike in Huntingdon Valley (Lower Moreland Township) is set to be taken over by a new tenant, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported last week.

According to their coverage, leases for five former Iron Hill restaurants, including the one in Huntingdon Valley, will be run by a business corporation. Each will be identified as “IHB” and the name of each location.

A federal bankruptcy judge approved the acquisition of Iron Hill’s trademark and intellectual property in addition to the transfer of the five leases. The judge also approved a written agreement that allowed for “Rightlane LLC” to assume Iron Hill Brewery’s trademark and intellectual property, The Inquirer said, noting that attempts to reach company representatives were unsuccessful.

In November, Jeff Crivello, the former CEO of Famous Dave’s, announced plans to take over 10 Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant locations, including the Huntingdon Valley location. He recently confirmed that the assets of his five remaining Iron Hills, along with the brand’s trademark and intellectual property, were acquired by Right Lane.

The Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant chain filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in October 2025 and announced the immediate closure of their 16 remaining locations in September 2025.

More to come.
