Hatboro residents arrested for stealing from Wawa, search reveals heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia

The Lower Southampton Police Department announced today the arrests of Nicole Hamlet, 28, and Kevin Brizzi, 31, for stealing from a Wawa located at 929 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville (Bucks County) on Monday, August 25 at approximately 8:31am.

Wawa staff reported that the suspects had taken $60 worth of unpaid items and walked out, then entered a white Subaru parked in the rear lot, police said. Officers arrived to find the suspects and their vehicle still on scene.

“In fact, they weren’t in any hurry to flee, as both individuals were actively enjoying their stolen food,” the report said. “In plain view, food and drink items from Wawa were seen on HAMLET’s lap, while BRIZZI was mid-bite.”

After Hamlet and Brizzi were confirmed by Wawa staff, a search revealed suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Police said Hamlet and Brizzi were processed and will receive the following charges via summons:

  • Retail Theft
  • Receiving Stolen Property
  • Drug Offenses
