Glenside Youth Athletic Club’s 11U baseball team captured their second consecutive Suburban Travel League Championship title after taking down Langhorne 8-3 tonight at Renninger Field.
“It’s actually the first GYAC team to win two Suburban travel championships, which is pretty awesome,” Craig Ecker, vice president of GYAC, said. “It was a well-played game by both teams. We hit the ball really well. Our pitchers, Noah Lyons and Billy Sautter, were phenomenal.”
After the win, the boys celebrated at Jerzee’s in Glenside.

The 11U Glenside Ghosts, who also took home a district title on Sunday, are headed to the round robin state tournament in Warrington, which begins Saturday, 29.
In 2023, the 10U Glenside Ghosts brought home a Southeastern Pennsylvania championship trophy following a Suburban championship, a District championship, and a skills competition sweep at the state tournament.
The team has been coached by Steve Ockenhouse since their 8U days, Ecker said.
