Montgomery County has issued a flood watch in effect from 8 AM this morning through late tonight.

The Weather Service is predicting between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts to fall through the day today and into tonight.

Bands of moderate to locally heavy rain will develop across the region today, and will continue through tonight. In the areas of heaviest rainfall, urban and poor-drainage flooding may occur.
