The Downtown Glenside Foundation Calling dogs to strut down Wesley Ave, in Halloween costumes to raise money for Home at Last Dog Rescue. Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Best Strut, Best Trick, and Waggiest Tail. No dog needed to enjoy the fall fun for the whole family featuring live music from the Planets, pet vendors, the Shops of Glenside, great food, and family activities. Kids can make treat bags and take them to businesses in Downtown Glenside handing out treats in the spirit of Halloween. (Rain Date Oct. 29th)The registration fee is $10 per dog with proceeds going to Home at Last Rescue. Dog check-in from 11:00 am to 11:45 am with a dog parade commencing at noon. Judges include Commissioner Matt Areman; Sgt Jeffrey Murphy, Cheltenham Township Police Dept. Cheltenham Township's Fire Marshal Scott Lynch; Lamar Smith, Dream Ice Cream, Maureen Haff, President, Downtown Glenside Foundation.
