Elkins Park native, Univ. of Michigan LAX standout named to All-Big Ten First Team

 Kaylee Dyer, an Elkins Park native and a member of the University of Michigan’s women’s lacrosse program, was named to All-Big Ten First Team, the conference announced Wednesday, April 24.

From the announcement:

Dyer earns her first Big Ten postseason honor and also has started all 16 games for Michigan this season. The Elkins Park, Pa., native’s 54 points (42 goals, 12 assists) rank second for U-M. Dyer has netted three goals or more in eight games this season, including an eight-point outing at Rutgers (six goals, two assists). She became just the seventh Wolverine in Michigan history to eclipse 100 career points with 108 to her name heading into the postseason.

Dyer, a 2021 graduate of William Penn Charter, additionally received Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors for the week of March 19.

She was named a Big Ten Player to Watch for 2024, adding to her list of accolades which includes Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors and for 2023.
