Anrae James, 43, of Elkins Park, was shot and killed in yesterday morning while at work at Jefferson Hospital. The suspect in the shooting, a 55 year old male, was a coworker of James’ at the hospital. The suspect initially fled the scene in a U-Haul van; the police caught up with him an hour later and a shoot-out ensued. The suspect, shot in the back and the neck, is currently in the hospital in critical condition.

James leaves behind a wife and three children.
