On December 2nd, 2021, Christopher Nasir Barret, 19, of Elkins Park was arrested on the 400 block of N. Main Street in Doylestown Borough.

The initial traffic stop was for tinted windows but the Officer then observed illegal substances in the vehicle and upon searching the vehicle, the Officer found a loaded handgun with an altered serial number under the front passenger seat.

Barrett was arraigned, bail set at 10% of $50,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Criminal charges and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
